One does not...

One does not go about telling people he is heartbroken because he got ditched by his girlfriend, but at the same time trying to molest another girl's hair and ass when (presumably) nobody is watching...

One does not use and/or back stab his friend in order to score some brownie points while trying to impress a girl...

One does not put his/her friend in untenable positions and then acts like everything is fine...

One does not become best friends with another fella and then all of a sudden decides to abandon the friendship without any explanation because of a relationship...

And of course...

One does not get jealous and try to make a fuss about things when his best friends found the love of their lives and decide to move on to the next phase of their lives...

(PS: I wasn't aiming at anyone in particular here, just felt inspired all of a sudden to make this post)

Trust

Friendship is always built on the foundation of a word called trust. Without trust, there can be no friendship. If you need some sort of license to allow a friendship to exist, then the trust is breached, and there can be no friendship.

If a license is required to prove that being nice to you is based purely on friendship without invoking unnecessary suspicion, then I'd rather stop being nice to you.

Weakling ah you??

I was down with mild fever today, went to the clinic, and the doctor told me that most probably, 99%, it's just a lousy fever, not H1N1, don't worry, but you'd better take some med, go home sleep it out for the day and see what happens tomorrow to be safe...

The doctor also told me that masks are out of stocks, not just in his clinic, but throughout Penang and probably the whole Malaysia too, "Wear mask! Go buy! We have lots of stock!" are just political bullsh*t by certain quarters...

Anyway, I took the medicine and headed straight back the my rented place... ate roti, ate medicine, and slept for a few hours, thank goodness the fever is gone now, false alarm I suppose...

Was chatting with an old friend thru the MSN just now. This fella is currently based in Bangkok, I shall not reveal too much about what he does there, apparently it's not as a secret agent or undercover (I hope)...

I basically lamented about being poked fun of being a weakling paranoid, always going to the clinic for petty things. Apparently, he understood my feelings, he too had his fair share of minor illness while being away from home...

While at it, he gave me a few tips on how to stay healthy away from home, which I think I wanna share here. I did not go and print screen what he mentioned, but I'll try to be as original from his words as I can below:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

1. GO TO THE CLINIC FOR ANY ILLNESS

Small illness is manageable, but if you leave them alone until they get big enough, then you're screwed. You're on your own, remember? If you fall sick, you are the one whose supposed to take care of youself. Mommy is not around you know? What happens if one day you find yourself lying in the bed, too sick to even call the hospital, wait die lo...

I have friends what...

Hahahahaha!!!! So optimistic ah?? Do you think your friends will give that much of a sh*t on what happens to you? The most you should expect is some gesture of concern, text messages asking you to rest more la, get well soon la... You think friends will go over to your place and make you nice porridge or soup? C'mon la... if they will, that's bonus... but you should not be expecting them...

......

2. INFORM AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN WHEN YOU ARE SICK

Ahh... ask you something... if 1 day la, you're down with high fever, or worse, fainted in your room, do you think anybody will realise?

Erm....

No need erm la dumbass, let me tell you, the answer is NO. Maybe yes lah, if your housemates is the concern @ kepoh type la, everytime will knock your door and wait for your response one.. otherwise.... hahahahaha..

Well...

Do you go out for lunch or dinner with your mates?

Sometimes lo...

And if one day, if you didn't answer their calls when they wanna ask you out for dinner, what do you think will happen? Will they worry that something might happen to you?

Erm..

I'll tell you what will happen. More likely, they will get pissed off because you didn't answer their phone call, and speculate things like you went out to kao lui no time to answer their calls, UNLESS, you let them know earlier that you're sick, then they might suspect that something is wrong lah... and that's a big MIGHT...

(I do recall a certain friend who fainted in his room for 1 whole day and his housemates did not realize it, here, so I know full well things like this might happen)

3. DON'T OVERESTIMATE YOURSELF

Don't overdo anything la, especially work. It's really not worth it working thru the night all the time and then fall sick lah, this is called counter-productive. If you really have to work sh*t shifts, make sure you get enough rest before and after that.

(Haihzzz, spot on)

4. EAT WELL

You are already deprived of mommy's cooking, so you should really eat well out there. Try to eat healthier food la, get some soup from those restaurant occasionally, eat more fruits, drink more water, etc la... Food therapy is a good way to reduce stress too...

(Totally agree)

5. THE ULTIMATE TIP

Get yourself a chick...

WHAT??!!

No, really, seriously... this will take care of point 1, 2 and 4 for you, especially if she has family nearby... Girlfriend will more likely worry about you and take care of you if you really fall sick...

But.. but... I'm not even sure if I'll settle down here or not, I might just head back to KL after rolling around for a few years here...

Just go get one la, you can always bring her home with you, or easier, ditch her, when you decide you're done in Penang...

...... I don't think I'll do that......

Then eat yourself la, you're destined to be screwed up la....

......
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Thanks mate (you know who you are), that's... refreshing... =.="

Hope refreshes you guys as well....

Why the fuss? Why so mafan?? Just look at the kukujiao area see got the sausage anot, no means girl, got means guy la, cannot meh??

Some people will say: What if he go and cut his sausage to pretend to be a she??

Haih...

Welcome to Malaysia!

This is an amazing country, after all...

This is a country where if you throw a pile of shit on the road and do nothing about it, it will slowly disappear by itself over time... poof, gone, hilang, no need to clean up, no need to do anything, just leave the shit alone, it will be forgotten, and disappear by itself after some time (of course la, with some help from the weather)...

This is a country where politicians can talk a lot of cock all the time, make a lot of blank promises and spew things like: "Oi Cina Babi, u don't talk racist things ah! Cause racial disharmony! Jangan hina Islam, lu balik China la!", and get away with it...

This is also a country where citizens have the mentality of kindergarten kids. Even after getting those shit constantly, we still obediently vote those flers into power every General Elections, as long as those flers give us some cheap candy (neh, u dun realise meh, every time before the elections, the pot holes on the roads near your housing area will miraculously be filled up with nice warm tar after being there for 3-4 years)...

Apparently, quite a number of the citizens are embracing this culture as well. Throw a pile of dung out onto the street, do nothing about it, waiting for it to disappear by itself. If the neighbours complain "Oi, busuk la!", just smile and give them some candy...

Welcome to Malaysia!!!

The Truth?

Someone told me over MSN today: "You are an asshole who thrives only on the truth and details. You will never tolerate and half truths or worse, half-baked lies."

Thing is, I thought that the statement could not be more spot on.

I remember sometime ago, another bloke told me this:

"You use your brain too much. Yes, your analytical power is good, and you can always deduce multiple scenarios and come up with correct analysis. Problem is, most of the time, people don't tell the truth, and when you start deducing things based on incomplete truths or lies, you start to tune your behavior to match what you deduced, which are of course not the real situation, and things turn awkward."

So... how now? Should I stop using my brain? But... that's what I'm good at....

And... why don't people just tell the truth? Isn't it easier to tell the truth than challenging your creativity to conjure up magnificent lies and cover ups? Especially among friends, aren't friendships based on the word TRUST? Why do we need the lies and cover ups?

Why.... I wonder.....

Amusing Packaging

Saw this in a kedai runcit back in KL... printed on a 10kg rice package...

At first... I was confused with what this 4 words mean...

Because I was reading it like this:

[Automatically] [packed for hygiene]

Wtf?? Does it mean other brands does not automatically packed for hygiene? Then do they automatically packed for dirtiness and just limitedly packed for hygiene?

Of course... after reading it a few times.. I finally managed to see the other way of reading it:

[Automatically packed] [for hygiene]

Now that makes a lot more sense.... hehehehe :P

TBH

TBH is usually used as an acronym of to be honest..

Lately, it is used in Malaysia more on referring to the unfortunate soul who died mysteriously while in custody of MACC, the man whose name is Teoh Beng Hock...

I'm not gonna jump onto the bandwagon of politics today... actually, I'm more interested to voice out my unhappiness on the level of respect some MSM and ANM (MainStream Media and AlterNative Media) blokes for this poor man...

Why lah?? Why the f**k do I see blogs and news portals dishing out "Teoh Beng Huat's case is bla bla bla...." or "The death of Teoh Boon Hock yadda yadda..." or even a headline such as "Who killed Teoh Boon Huat?"

What the f**k??? Can't even spell out a dead fella's name correctly? Out of respect, please? Even the BR taikor Mr AI does that in his blog...

Tiu!!!

Kinny @ Shogun

You know, it totally sucked when you were told you cannot take photos inside a restaurant...

Maybe they don't know that I'm a blogger... maybe they don't give a fuck on handphone cameras... perhaps they'd be nicer if I'm carrying a big ass Canon instead (pun intended)...

Anyway, the fact remains: I was prohibited to take photos inside Shogun, Sunway Pyramid...

This, is the only photo I managed when I tried to snap the food on offer:

Oh, another one, this one:

Eh?! Sorry wrong picture, above is meant for personal purposes only, ignore it.... :P

Well, since I'm not allowed to take photos on the food on display.. I'll just show you whatever I managed to grab on my plate...

Main course #1

Main course #2

Sushi

Shark fin soup

Sausage and chicken teppanyaki

大长今硫磺鸭 Dae Jang Gum sulphur duck!!

Desserts and fruits

Ice cream with red bean

Ok, now let's talk about Kinny...

This is Kinny

Kinny is 靓妈 leng ma's daughter, and leng ma is... well... a very good friend of mine la... hehehe..

You know... and in case you didn't know.. Shogun is a buffet restaurant... and you know what Kinny ate?

This

And this

And some melted chocolate from the chocolate fountain...

That's all...

For her, Shogun is more of a playground than a restaurant.. she was more fascinated running around than sitting down enjoying unlimited food...

I did manage to snap some photos of her though.. most of it curi-curi, although every time I took her picture, she would say: "I somehow know you are taking picture la, so I pose nice nice" ... =.="

Kinny taking photo of the food

She said she wanna take photos of all the food to show grandpa..

Rare occasion - sit down properly for me to take photo, but my hand screwed up, shit!

Leng ma and Kinny eating

"Mama, I go and take more chocolate ok?"

Pretending to be angry

Failed!

What are they looking at???

Trying to talk secrets away from me.. ishh!!!

Candid camera, donno what they doing hehehe

Last photo:

"Mama you are the best in the world! I love you so much!!!"

Thanks for the day, really enjoyed it very much....

They just might love it!

I was reading this... about the Shah Alam alcohol issue...

For your information, I've worked in Shah Alam before for about 4 months, and my say about it?

You know, I think that politician is just trying to score brownie points among his constituents, but there are really some of the bigots residents in that area who'd be glad to turn that area into Melayu Muslim only territory.

I've blogged about my experience with the bigots before, here...

And, considering that I've already made a post about this fuss, I'll just drop my 5 cents on this matter..

I always tell my friends: I AM A BLOODY RACIST!!

And I'm not ashamed to say that out loud. I mean, I don't hate all Malays, I do respect quite a number of them, heck even my manager is a Malay..

But the majority of them, I just cannot agree with them...

WTF, the only bumiputra on this ragged patch of land called Malaysia is the Orang Asli, you guys originated from Indonesia yourselves, remember? And not very early from us, just around 100-200 years earlier...

Talking about bumiputra rights, you have been openly robbing the truly original indigenious people for the past 50 or so years. Everything that you think you deserved, you didn't, and you have been openly enjoying it for ~50 years, while denying the rights of us... Chinese and Indians alike....

And when we mentioned about freedom and equality, you begin to use terms such as: racial stir, sensitive issues, greedy, trying to challenge ketuanan Melayu.... heck the Melayus themselves are not the bumiputra of this country!

Yes, there are some enlightened Malays, especially in the blogosphere.. there are many enlightened and successful Malays in the corporate world as well (take my manager for example), and yes, the ultimate root cause of this bullshit is the past and present goverment of the same regime that has used divide-and-rule methodology to brainwash us.

What does it matter? The only thing that matters is, our generations, we are already programmed to be racist bigots since birth. Yes you can bullshit about changing the mentality, both sides of the political divide, but... you try to go and ask the Malays in general... and I mean the commoners, not the bloggers...

Tell them: We will remove the special rights for Malays because it is unfair. We will grant special rights to the orang asli because they are the original bumiputras here.

And then guess what will happen? Come next GE, you'd get the big ass boot from these guys...

I don't care about who gets to be in charge of the country. I don't care about the special rights. Heck I don't even care about corruption. Stop daydreaming, THERE IS CORRUPTION EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE THERE IS POWER THERE IS CORRUPTION.

I love Mahathir's era. We all know his era is full of corrupt bullshits, but at least, we get the economy growth, we get the outspoken guy who puts our country on the world map, and we get the Twin Tower.

The problem begins when his predecessor comes in, continues the corruption, but screws everybody up in the process. You take and you give. If you take but don't give, that is when problems come.

Like what my company's CEO say: When life is good, everyone closes 1 eye; when times are bad, everyone is disgruntled.

Amazing

Really, isn't it amazing? How people tend to forget even the worst of crimes?

I'm surprised that suspect Bomb Bomb boss end up still manage to become the premier, and I'm even more surprised that no one is mentioning about the Mongolian model case anymore..

Amazing isn't it?
