Valentine's Day

While many people with celebrate love and affection on this special day tomorrow, buying overpriced flowers and paying for overpriced meals, do you know what is the origin of this day?

There was nothing romantic about this day's original intention, in fact it was quite bloody...

Valentine's Day was originally meant to commemorate a Christian martyr, Saint Valentine. He was executed by the then pagan Romans for marrying Christian couples. Back then, being Christian and helping Christians was a crime in Rome.

So when you guys and girls enjoy your intimate time out tomorrow, remember to think of Saint Valentine and also the Christian couples.

Remember that every relationship is bound to run into obstacles sooner or later, remember that instead of taking the easy way out, we need to learn how to endure, to work together to overcome the troubles.

Remember the reason you fall in love with your partner in the first place, remember that it is worth every effort to ensure you stay in love with each other.

Remember to renew your faith in the relationship. Remember to cherish your partner, and to be grateful to him/her for coming into your life and make your life more colorful.

Most important of all, remember to have fun and enjoy the day out...

Happy Valentine's Day ^^
