My Ideal Car Collection

Unfortunately, most of the time in life, the ideal situation does not happen...

Still, it does not stop us from dreaming high, does it? :D

BMW M3
I've always said that my favorite cars are comfortable sedans that beat the crap out of sports cars, or sports car wannabes in a speed race.

An M3 would be fast enough to meet that purpose in Bolehland, and comfortable enough. And I don't need big ostentatious shits like the Maybachs, the Rolls, or the 7 Series whatsoever...

Nissan X-trail
Good for the shopping runs and long distance drive with lots of luggage, that's all...

Somehow I don't really like the looks of the Land Rovers or Estimas...

Mercedes SLR McLaren
The show off car... this car gives me the feeling of stability and maturity, and it is very very fast too...

Maybe I have the mind of an old man, that's why I don't really like the flamboyance of those Porsches, Ferraris and Lamborghinis...

Reminder

I was very tired of work lately, and today it reached breaking point...

So I stopped working for a few moments, took some time to go through my photos last year...

I need to remind myself of the perks and benefits of working in the company I am working in right now...

Yeah, the company is good... I am very well treated by the company...

I should work hard to repay the company...

I shall try to convince myself on this...

Not Good Enough

It just seems that whatever I do, however much I do, will never be good enough to merit what I wish for...

I'm tired, exasperated, confused, hurt, and out of idea what else is there I can do to gain the trust that I so long for...

It shouldn't matter, I suppose... I'm used to trudging on all by myself, maybe I should continue that way, maybe that's what an idiot like me deserves...

Perhaps I should really just go somewhere where I am really all alone, where nobody knows me, and start all over again...

Perhaps...

Can I Join?

After a 1 week break, today I begin shooting balls again at the company's basketball court...

I thought fate would leave me to shoot balls alone in peace after such a long break, it was not to be...

After just 10 balls, a few guys came and joined me...

One of them asked: "When do you usually come one?"

I replied: "I try to come on days when I think nobody would come."

After a few minutes, they said thanks and politely left...

I hope all those fuck asses who come and disrupt me in the future would ask me the same question, so that sooner or later they all would stay away...
----------
PS: My shooting is now 55% consistently and 60% inconsistently, I find that it is easy getting from 30% to 50%, but it gets exponentially more difficult to hit 60%...

JB v4.4 - MBS

We managed to finish what we wanted to cover at the CJB company early, so after lunch, we headed straight across the stream straights into kiasu-land to waste some time while waiting for our return flight from Changi.

We were 3 malat lous, so going to Orchard Road was not really an exciting option. Instead, we went to sort of the newest attraction of the island republic: Marina Bay Sands.

I was here before last time, but didn't know what I was staring at and just assumed it was some stupid concept of 3 buildings topped up with a skateboard. This time I paid the buildings the respect they deserve...

We started with the building on the opposite of the road, which is where the shoppes and the casino are.

It feels to me that this building is just a mix and match between Cologne Train Station (Germany) and Bull Ring Birmingham (UK)...

and The Mines Shopping Fair (Malaysia)...

The casino on the other hand... well... photography is prohibited, so...

Let me just give a brief, straight to the point description of the casino: it is humongously large but the variety of games is very limited...

Then we headed over to the other side of the road, to the 3 stupid buildings... this is how it looks like on the inside...

To go up to the skateboard a.k.a Skypark would require us to pay S$25, our driver said we would basically go up there and watch people swim around... err, no thanks...

After lepak-ing for a bit more, we left for the airport... and flew back to Penang... business trip JB v4 is over!~

JB v4.3 - Free Lunch

Second day of the business trip to the CJB company, the CJBs treated us to lunch at an ostentatious Chinese restaurant with a Malaysianized English name, the Pekin Restoran 北京楼.

As we were having lunch with the so called CM, we were supposed to be professional, so I was quite paiseh to whip out my Wildfire and snap away...

Here's what we had for appetizer, some fried tofu chunks with anchovies...

And this is supposed to be their signature dish - Two Flavored Fish...

Nah... I made the name up, again... I don't know what the dish is called, it's basically just a fish.. a very large one.. prepared in 2 halves, 1 steamed 1 stir fried, with 2 different sauces...

The food was... so so ok ok lah... but the size of the restaurant is... like I said, ostentatious... the restaurant is a standalone building, have an open space of considerable size beside the building and they even have and underground car park...

I suppose they are designed to cater for large wedding dinners...

JB v4.2 - Japanese Dinner

In the end, Danga Bay did not materialize. We were not familiar with JB area at all, so we just took a short walk to KSL City Mall. It is about 300 meters from our hotel, and it is supposed to be 1 of the newest shopping mall in JB.

The mall is very clean and brand new, with many shops, but it was sadly very devoid of people flow. Lucky lucky us though, because we discovered the best Japanese restaurant in Malaysia ever.

Ladies and gentleman, may I present you, Kinsahi...

Artfully decorated interior,

Sweet little appetizer dish,

Mouth watering Ebi An Chawan Mushi,

And many other very very fresh and good food... so good that we just tucked in when the food arrived without taking photos at all...

The sashimi especially, I tell you... have you ever ordered sashimi dish from Sakae? If terms of size, well, a plate of Sakae's sashimi would translate to 1 piece of sashimi in this restaurant, and a plate has 5 big pieces of it.. and super duper fresh salmon... heaven I tell you, heaven!

This restaurant will be my preferred dining place on future CJB business trips, and I would definitely recommend it to other people...

JB v4.1 - Grand Paragon Hotel

We arrived in Changi, had a quick lunch, headed straight to the CJB company for line tour first, then only check into our hotel, the Grand Paragon Johor Bahru.

We were told that their Standard Rooms were full, so we were upgraded to the Junior Suites at no additional cost.

So we got our key cards and headed off to our respective rooms. When I approached mine, I got my first shock...

The door looks sturdy, and 2 fold some more.. I'm beginning to suspect that my upgraded room might be pretty cool...

So, I opened the door in anticipation, and this sight greeted me...

My very own living room in the hotel room?? Wow!!!

I also have 2 queen size beds..

And my own dedicated kitchen!!! With a proper electric stove in it!! Yeah, although I don't use it, but it's quite exciting to see it in my room hehehe... there's also a small dining table to come with it...

Ah Leong is a happy guy today :D...

Now, I'm gonna go off to see if I can find someone to fully utilize my beds. I heard that JB has lots of hot chicks... tata ^^
